Thank you to the parents who attended the Parent Fundraising Group information session on Friday September 23, 2011.  Obviously this means that school is now in desperate need of some volunteers willing to be involved in the fundraising program.

> Currently we are still in need of Parent Reps for the following
> classes:

> Grade 1 x 2 parents;
> Grade 2 x 2 parents;
> Grade 3 x 1 parent;
> Grade 3/4 x 2 parents;
> Grade 4 X 1 parent;
> Grade 5 x 2 parents;
> Grade 6 x 2 parents;
> Grade 7 x 1 parent.
>
> We also still need to put together the PFG executive, as the only positions currently filled are Chair, and Returning Officer.  I have attached the new PFG structure to give you an idea of the roles and expectations of parents who volunteer for these positions.
>
> Alternatively, if you would like to be involved in the fundraising program but don't wish to be a Parent Rep. we are also looking for 8 people to make up the Spring Fundraiser (Auction Night) Committee, 4 people to make up the School Grocery Certificate Sales Committee, 2 people to coordinate the Outdoor Ed. fundraising for the Gr. 6 class, and 4 people to take on coordinating other fundraisers that may present themselves throughout the year.
